This is a very special hybrid in-person / online event.
Help with real-time remote repair via Discord: we’re holding an in-person Fixit Clinic this upcoming Saturday (Jan 14) at the San Mateo Public Library 11AM-2PM PST; we have lots of items signed up already (see

To create a blended in-person / virtual experience I plan to have Discord: Global Fixers running from the Library with live video so that you can interact with the in-person participants and repairers.

HOW:
- Sign up on the In-Person Fixit Clinic Coach Sign-up form: http://bit.ly/inpersoncoachsignup, select “2023-01-14 USA-CA-San Mateo San Mateo Library 11AM PST” and enter “Discord” in the “Anything special about your participation?” field.
- If you haven’t already: sign up for the Global Fixers Server on Discord: follow the instructions in this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uIOwaghzZc9zkL1AFOt3aJJLFMY3zJ_G9RhQRPdbKkM/edit?usp=sharing
- (Optional: I’m going to offer to the registered participants that they can also register for Discord: Global Fixers to get early help so you may see them online this week; feel free to help them get a head start ahead of Saturday.)
- Get on Discord: Global Fixers at the correct time Saturday: I’ll try to start the video feed in Voice/Video Channel1 early.
