At the moment, clicking on a posted link to an external site (e.g. http://google.com/ ) takes you there in the same window, meaning you leave the forum.
We have the option to Open external links in a new tab by default, meaning you’d keep the forum open.
I’ve not enabled this because I think it takes some control away from the user and in my experience, if someone wants a new tab, they’ll open it in a new tab themselves (from the right click menu, using the click-wheel etc.)
That said, what does everyone else think - which option is preferable?
