There was lots of repair data activity at Fixfest - here’s a summary of what went on, and what’s coming up next, over at openrepair.org:

The broad areas are:

  • Combining repair data using the ORDS standard - in advance ORA published a dataset of over 15,000 repairs
  • A data dive into the current ORDS data looking at fault types of computers
  • Ways of improving data quality with a spreadsheet for data collection, and online microtasking
  • Combining info about upcoming events across repair networks
