Is it possible to pull a list of cafes near a particular cafe, via the API?

For the website we’re developing in the open (on GitHub) for our cafe groups, I’ve had a suggestion for a list of cafes near the other cafes. I would ideally like to pull this via the Restarters API on a Cloudflare worker, cache it, and serve it up to the static site via a REST call, and keeping in line with CSRF mitigations.

Does anyone from the Restarters team know if the API offers that functionality?

Hi Dom,

No, not currently. There’s a branch in flight, soon to be merged, that will get you a bit closer to this: https://github.com/TheRestartProject/restarters.net/tree/RES-1995_map_of_groups_l10

It doesn’t have that exact functionality though - but via /groups/names you will also receive the lat/lng of the groups, so you could perform your search client side.
