How many mega-hamsters would it take to power an express train?

And would they even make it from Euston to Watford?

Similar useless information can now be found in the Restarters Wiki Glossary under definitions of SI prefixes from atto- to tera-. These, amongst a staggering 647 definitions of 727 technical terms and abbreviations - and the odd Easter egg.

For anyone curious to check out Philip’s herculean efforts, you can find the Wiki Glossary here:

(Forgot to add the link to my original post - corrected.)

I’ve been on a few kilo-hamster trains on the West Coast Line…

Such a great amount of work Philip, bravo

You’ve reminded me that once upon a time we named Restarters releases after terms in the glossary. Would be fun to do that again, if we ever get through all the definitions we’ll be doing well!

I felt a bit guilty about the number of ChatGPT queries I used in order to research the illustrations in those definitions.

But I worked out that it only takes around 40 milli-toasters of fixing to offset the carbon footprint of a single ChatGPT interaction.

Though yes, at scale, use of AI is certainly worrying.
