Hi! I would like to start repair event in Pune India, any fellow Punekars interested?
I am a long way from India but I would like to salute you and wish you success.
When I think about how to spread the word to potential volunteers near our project, I try to imagine who those people might be and how I can get the message to them. Are they members of a club, or studying practical subjects, or working in local engineering companies?
Maybe you could put up a sign in local shops that sell repair materials asking for volunteers? Or ask local community leaders to make an announcement in church, mosque temple or other group?
I hope these suggestions have some value even though our situations are different.
Kind regards
Gareth
