In case you haven’t heard yet, huge climate strikes are being planned around the world on the 20th and 27th of September to demonstrate mass support for action on the climate emergency.

Inspired and organised by the #FridaysForFuture movement and Earth Strike, thousands of events have been planned. They’re listed here:

Is anyone planning on striking?

Most of the Restart :restart: crew will be marching in Berlin prior to #fixfest-2019. We’d encourage anyone else coming to Fixfest to join us and other Fixfest attendees there. Details will be available soon.

I’m hoping to be at our city’s strike, and will be advertising Repair Café and possibly using some of the Repair for Future material.

UPDATE on meeting up in Berlin, via RtR, our hosts:

Since the protest march will only start at 13.00, the Fixfest group joining the climate strike will meet at 11.30 am on Friday (not 10.30 as previously stated). The location stays the same: Friedrichstraße 90, in front of Dussmann.

Bring your repair-themed t-shirts, props and posters for the occasion!
