Margrethe Verstaeger, the European Commission for Competition published a video on twitter about repair and how competition has a role to play in ensuring we all have a choice when it comes to repairing products.

She mentioned that: “As for anything in the tech market, users shouldn’t be locked in with one supplier and should be free to not only choose their devices but also who can repair them” - saying this would be good for consumers but also for the environment.
The video is a response to a video made by repair activist Louis Rossman who claimed he tried to get in touch with the European Commission and got rejected.
