The Lineage wiki git repo has an interesting collection of data on Android devices in .yml format:

You could for example query it for any correlation between release year and whether the battery is removable.

The main problem being that it isn’t really representative of Android devices as a whole - obviously only a fraction of all the Android devices out there, and it’s only those that are/have been supported by Lineage.
