Contribute to a citizen science project on assessment of reusable materials

Hi all… I’m conducting this research study with GIG. It’s another spin-off from my PhD research on systems to promote the reuse of goods and materials. We’re expecting to create a curriculum to train material valuers. Contributions are welcome, particularly from people experienced in repair and reuse contexts.

The citizen science project Circular Material Valuer Curriculum aims to understand the skills, experience, and sensibility needed to give a longer life to the increasing amount of discarded or unused goods. We invite you to contribute to this important goal by participating in our online survey. Your input will directly help us identify better ways to divert reusable goods and materials from becoming waste through repair, upcycling, adaptation, and recirculation.
You can find more information and access the survey through the links below:

We encourage you to share this with your network and anyone who might be interested in contributing.

This is very interesting. However, I would not use google forms, what about something such as Framaform? https://framaforms.org/abc/en/

Thanks for yuour comment, I didn’t know framaforms. It’s always complex to strike a balance between convenience and freedom. We considered limesurvey and nextcloud, but ended up deciding for google. If you are interested in contributing but want to avoid google altogether, I can point you to the survey questions here. I’d be happy to receive your responses by email - felipe (at) globalinnovationgathering.org
