November 14th to 22nd, free, both online and at Goldsmith.
As part of Being Human festival 2020, learn new repair skills, share advice and reflect on some big questions
Open to all, Fixing It is a week of events encouraging contemplation around what mending means.
- Is repair an act of resistance in an unsustainable world?
- Does it matter if the cracks show?
- Can everything be mended?
Fixing It is part of a wider project, Breaks and Joins by Sue Mayo. Being Human is the UK’s only national festival of the humanities. A celebration of humanities research through public engagement, it is led by the School of Advanced Study at the University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
