Based in Devon? Join us at ShareFest Totnes on 24 Nov!

We’re very excited to be going to Totnes to run a Restart Party as part of the Network of Wellbeing’s ShareFest :tada:

@Sol_Moyano and I will be meeting and greeting while @Ian_Barnard will be joined by a handful of other repairers to bring a new lease of life to electronic devices.

If you’re local or fancy making the trip, why not drop by and say hi!

I will be there James, so see you then. If you have an old Christmas jumper bring that as I will be running a Christmas jumper swap and demonstrating how to have a reduced plastic bathroom.

Sounds good! Not sure I own any Christmas jumpers as it happens, but definitely interested in the reduced plastic bathroom! Bamboo toothbrushes FTW!

I was born in Totnes! Would love to go, but unfortunately it’s a bit far.

Just a quick reminder that ShareFest Totnes is happening tomorrow!

Our soldering irons, multimeters and screwdrivers are packed! (and a lot more besides!) :pliars: :memory: :fan:

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow @Sol_Moyano and @catherine_causley!
And catch you next time Ian

We’ve just packed up after a busy morning of fixing!

A huge thanks to @Sol_Moyano for co-hosting and our repairers Rob & Marcus from Borrow Don’t Buy, Chris and John. Together they saw 23 devices, only 4 of which proved end of life!

32 kg of e-waste saved and 349 kg of CO2 emissions prevented! :+1:

Rob basking in the glow of a fixed lamp made almost entirely of salt!

Chris imparting some OS knowledge

Marcus successfully tackling a Dyson repair (earning a round of applause!)

@Sol_Moyano, feel free to add your own photos (I didn’t take very many!)
