We started a Repair Café in Portsmouth (UK) in March of 2018 after putting a shout out on Facebook in the previous autumn to see if there was interest in setting one up. We had over 200 people join the FB group in less than 24 hours, so we got our answer

Clare Seek is the current organiser and is passionate about getting people from all walks of life excited about repair and making the most of the amazing resources that we’re gifted with on this planet.

We currently meet once a month and have a great team of volunteers, and the level of happiness at each session is hard to describe, but it’s off the scale!

We are also starting to do pop-ups across the city to spread the love, and are supporting other groups that are setting up in the region.
