I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s when there was a vibrant repair industry. If your TV or washing machine broke you would call for a technician to repair it or you would have to adapt and do without. As a 50 something, living in a throw away society, I’m becoming more aware of the consequences of that lifestyle on people, economy, energy and ultimately wellbeing and happiness. Restarters are proving such a valuable service to the community in raising awareness and being so useful in the process.
