Hi, I’m Rob. I joined the repairers of the Electronics bench at Repair Cafe Winchester, when it started up in April 2023. My career was in IT, mostly software, but on retiring I found a passion for electronics, starting with microcontrollers and digital circuits, but lately audio and analogue. I’m self-taught via books, YouTube and experimentation. My repairs have mostly been failed power supplies, in a couple of DAB radios, a sewing machine, a vintage computer.
